    I found the problem , the purple wire to the starter solenoid had rubbed against the trans oil filler tube and shorted out !

    13,1 volts ,fresh charged battery , 12,6 V trying to crank. Crank position on the key only works in P and R positions on the shifter so I assume the starter switch is adjusted correct

    My starter quit the other day, with ignition on I could hear the fuel pump working, instument lights were on but when I turned the key to start no click from the starter but the instrument and radio lights faded out.     I just found out that I need an intake valve. It is larger than stock , 1,771" or 45 mm with 0,3407 stem dia. and 4,713 OAL Google was not my friend this time.... Anyone who knows where to buy one ?

    How much for the fbody radiator? Rock Auto rad cost $ 165.79 and 2 adapters for the trans cooler, they cost a couple of bucks. Complete with engine and transcoolers.

    Only the radiator. The temp was 77 F when I tested it. If you live in a hotter climate you can propably add the Intrepid fans. It would still be a budget solution.
