Posi-help?
My posi is no longer posi. After 140,000 miles and hundreds of 1/4mile pass' and countless numbers of burnouts. With slicks on the car , when I try to do a burn out only one wheel spins. I am just assuming the clutches are worn. It is a ten bolt 8.5" ring gear with 3.73 gears from a 1984 Hurst...- WHN378

Clear or Amber lens?
How do you know which is the correct lens for a certain year car? I just bought a 1983 and a 1986 Regal . I recently parted out a 1985 and saved a good front bumper. I am curious because the parking/signal light lens are different. One is clear with amber bulb and the other has an amber lens?- WHN378

Yep Yeah, it does but I mostly did it to piss the former owner of the rat motor off. It worked, and I also went quicker with it than he did.- WHN378

Orphan Car Yeah , it's hard to fit in with this car. It was a "H" code car, it came with a 305ci Ch__y 4bbl. The Olds community doesn't like it because it is not Olds powered. It is not a Buick anything. It is not really a "G" body, but it really isn't an "A" body. But it is GM and rear...- WHN378

My 1978
races Thanks, I had the car out only twice this year. The closet track is about 2-1/2 hrs away for me. The circle burner track near me, 20 minutes away, has 100 ft drags. I went to that twice also. My best 100 ft was a 2.31. My best 1/4 mile so far was 11.16 @ 119.95. Mostly 11.30 -...- WHN378

Ford 9"vs 8.5 10 bolt Here is a link to Curries Currie Enterprises Rear End Sample GM A and G Body I have been thinking about this for a while. Just don't have the money. Nothing you find in any ford will bolt right in. Like it has been said you need all of the stock mounting brackets...- WHN378

I have visited many times but registered for first time today. I don't own a Buick, but I have four Olds G bodies. I have a 1978 cutlass with a BBC 468. I went a best of 11.16 @ 119.95 in the 1/4 on the motor. best 60' 1.57. I have learned a lot here about suspension and drivetrain stuff...- WHN378
