I've been reading the scanmaster tuning material and decided to look at my 02 sensor reading under full throttle. They suggest 780 to 800. I did a run and my readings went up to 810 ish momentarily and back down and up again etc.

I have Alky on the car so does that mean I should turn it down a little? or is this acceptable?

Turn up the boost a little!!! Tuning with a narrow band is a lil iffy but its not terrible to follow it. You can take some fuel with the TT chip out and see what it does 810's indicate that its rich.

Ok that makes sense. I'll have to study up on how to turn the boost up.

The car was dynode at 24/25 boost. Now it is set around 18. I might try 20 and see what happens.

Depends on your set up...look right under the turbo. That's the wastegate, if its threaded you can shorten the rod to make the boost go up and lengthen the rod to make it go down.

Before you do anything, what was your O2 readings at the end of the run? It's completely normal to get a rich spike.
Tuning with O2 numbers is an archaic way of doing things. With your setup, and horsepower level you should really be using a wideband.

I agree. Way more accurate.

I really can't say what the readings were after the run? It's hard to watch the scanmaster and drive a car like this.

What should I watch for the next time I do it again?

Also is there a better system than the scanmaster that uses a wide band 02?

I haven't tried boosting the car yet.
