I DONT LIKE THIS CAR

Well i took the car for a ride to see if it holds a charge, it seems to. I got on a side road and gave it hell , the thing pulled like it was crazy with no tire spin with the slicks. I go down the road and try it again [guess what] it starts back firing over half gas. I check the t link and i am pulling code out the a--. It was a code 24[vss] my dash light come on and off every blue moon and never have pulled this code, 25 mat sensor , still not hooked up after ecm change, 32 [egr] i checked it out and did not see any thing wrong , and one that said it was to lean. I now have a hollow knock that is very low in the block[ sucks to be me ].

sounds like you may have some ground problems, or maybe a junk ECM?

I'll second what Kevin just said.

Multiple codes/electrical problems are a sign of ECM or grounding problems. VSS is a pretty uncommon code.

You whine too much!

You want to trade cars? How about replacing ball joints, endlink bushings control arm bushings shocks, springs, tranny rear seal, engine rear seal, and repair the DISINTEGRATING interior!!... then repair the RUST, get anew decklid and paint it!!

I'd rather deal with the electrical gremlins and weird engine problems than have to empty my nonexisting wallet for all this stuff..

I feel your pain my brother. I have a monster electrical drain I can't isolate, major hesitation, the trans won't shift properly, not to mention a bombed out interior AND the paint is shot.

Not sure what up with the elec but i put a new wire on the #2cyl and some new plugs in and the thing is flying even with the bad exhaust leaks on both headers.I dont know how its running so hard with the bad leaks, it leaks so bad on the pass header that it burns a hole in my plug wire.

My buddy has a 2001 cobra with very little work and when i took him for a drive all he could yell is [ f----ing hell yeah ]. He said there is no way that if i could get it to stop the bad wheel hop that the car has to be in the 11's.

Iam trying to set a race with a 90's z28 with a 355 super charged to see if it has what it takes to run with the big boys.

Well thats easily remedied by a $15 dollar mouse, too bad we cant just do that and easily fix everything wrong in our engines
