In a full weight car? I'am sure someone has done it on a non stage motor.?
I will be going to the Gulf soon and will save up some $.
My goal when I get back will be to see how close I can come to it.
Maybe some GN-1's, a Yank PYE 3600 converter, some light rims, and some suspension mods.
First I will need to resolve my stumble out of the gate problem.
Anything over 5 psi(launch) and the car falls on it's face
and then recovers
I've only got a couple passes on the car and the 1st one was the best.
I THINK that on a similar cool day witha 12-14psi launch, good track prep, and locking up in 3rd should net some 11.20's.?
I don't know why I'am hung up on theis pump gas thing but Iam.
I guess I get tired of some "other" GM owners saying "race gas is for race cars."
These same guys often don't have a back seat, passenger seat, A/C, ect.......
Maybe not a realistic goal, but it will give me something to think about while I'am sweating my balls off in the Gulf for 6 months.
