18" Wheel Question

I have a 2007 City Jetta and have found someone selling some 18"x8" wheels with the same bolt pattern (5x112mm) still waiting to find out the offset but it sounds like they work. Do I have to worry about anything else, does anyone out there have 18" wheels on there city jetta?

I think you might need some spacers/adapters-German cars usually have very deep backspacing.
