All the while I've been wheel shopping, I had my mind set on not going any bigger than 17s. I've come across a set of 18s that I really like though, and the style isn't made any smaller than that. I know before I've had people tell me that going from 17 to 18 is crossing the line where you really do start noticing a decrease in ride quality. I'd be willing to sacrifice for these nice wheels if that's the only real negative effect. Would I be able to get them to fit on the car with a reasonable low-pro tire? If I had gone with 17s the rears would have been 9.5" wide, so I'm going with a safer bet in terms of width, but now I don't know about the diameter. Should I expect any problems installing/running them?

With 18s is it still possible to play with the aspect ratio enough that my speedo wouldn't be too inaccurate, or should I plan on having to calibrate it?

I just got my 18" ROH Modena's 8.5 front w/245/40's and 9.5 rear w/295/30's
I'll let you know what the ride is like after I finish installing 13" Baer brakes  With these profiles it will keep dia. of the wheel same as stock
26"

Sounds good, definately let me know how it turns out (if I'm patient enough to not buy them this weekend anyway, haha).

Car will ride alot harsher with the bigger setup. Many have complained. Not sure of your setup or personal ride wishes.

I'm torn between 17" and 18".
So I want to hear back about the ride quality of 18's

Yeah, I haven't made a purchase yet. But I still haven't found the style I like in 17s.

215/65/15 sidewalls are 139.75mm

275/35/18 sidewalls are 96.25mm

Losing about 43mm on the sidewall if I do 18s, hm....
