1982 sport coupe Hvac vac can

Hi guys,

The hvac vac can that mounts to the passenger side of the rad is missing from my car. Can I use a ball style can in place of it? What other gm cars use the black painted tomato can for a vac canister that I could steal one off of?

I have a few ball style units off of other parts cars. Just wasn't sure what would work in exchange for the factory soup can unit. Thanks

My '83 Turbo Regal has a factory round ball.

Alright. I can custom make that with a can of tomato juices and a drill bit haha. Wonder if my wife will notice it missing from the pantry. Haha
