1983 T Type

Considering buying a 1983 T Type. Few questions, the computer control I have read about, do you use it ? Can it be tuned? Have a different carb and turbo(yes hot air setup) considering. Is there any performance upside to using the factory computer or is a manual boost retard and wastegate a good way to go?? Any feedback is welcome, it could be a steal and wouldnt mind having another Buick

The factory ECM does not control the carb's secondaries or the base timing, so you still have plenty of control. It uses the exact same ESC and knock sensor as the 84/87.

I keep it and it helps the car run great whenever I am not at WOT.
