I'm looking at buying this Regal, but am wondering if the price is right.

All I want is the 4.1 that's in it, and some interior parts.

It's a Limited, so I'm not sure if interior parts are resell able or not.

The guy is asking $600

Thanks, Cory

If it runs that is a steal. At that price why worry about it--have you seen a 4.1 any cheaper anywhere else? If it works for you at a price you are comfortable with just do it.

Might want to post this in a different forum though--the mods will get on you for posting here if you don't actually have a car for sale...

if the doors are solid, you could sell them and damn near have a free car, which you could then sell to someone looking to build a circle track car and have $500 in your pocket..

That's a smokin' deal if it is solid and runs. You could pull the motor and sell it as a roller to someone who wants a V8 G body drag or pro touring project.

Plus it has the cool cornering lamp fenders, coffin handle door pulls, I guess nice chrome trim, sport mirrors, head and tail light bezels. Depending on condition interior pieces, probably a tilt column, maybe a dash. Sounds like you are way ahead at $600.

Thanks guys. I think I'll make the trip and go get it.

Being a Limited with so many cool options, it's almost criminal to part it out or have it gutted into Chebby-powered drag car. :nailbiting: A turbo driveline and some paint would make a smokin' hot rod! These things aren't growing on trees.

it probably wouldn't be made into a drag car... it would be gutted, caged, and raced on some 1/4-3/8 mile dirt bullring for a few years just like every other solid G body these days.. nothing wrong with that- it's a noble death for a car that's probably led a boring life..

Picked it up today. It's rougher than it looks in the picks, but it's got an 044 4.1. Ended up getting it for $500 and about $100 in fuel to go get it.

It only has 3 of the T wheels. Weird!

I listed the parts in the parts for sale section.
