What's good everyone, hope all had a good 4th this past weekend. I am updating an 85 GN hotair motor that I recently purchased for my 1984 Buick Regal Limited, for now I am in need of the 86/7 ECU & lt1/ls1 MAF... I have ordered many parts from Kirban & now gonna hit the bank with TurboTweak then at Caspers... Also would like to advise on or if there is any specific order I should install the updating parts on the motor before I install it or install motor first then do the mods or... ? I will list all the parts I have ordered in a few mins. Want to make sure I got everything correct... thanks again for any info provided.

make sure to put alky control on your list to keep the a/f mixture temps low.

Yes also read up on that and I just got an email from Alky Control and the kit for the Hotair set is $ just above $700... That's pretty steep... sound correct ? I can buy a whole lot of other mods with those funds...

Yea....I understand. If it makes you feel better there are a lot of components and pieces that make up the kit. The pump is also tried and true. I'd say this is the most important mod. If you don't cool down that mix no other mods really help. Just food for thought

This point is dead on correct. 87 ECM, 3bar MAP, TT chip and a Razor kit.

So the Razor Kit is the Alky Control kit's competition ? Didn't know there was another brand out there... good to know, so which is better then ?
