Say, this sure died down just as fast as it began. Did somebody buy this outside of E-bay? I expected this car to set a new all time high record fora GN on E-bay.

i thought steve petro's was a little nicer in my opinion.

You are a much better judge of these things than I am, Brian, I did like Steve Petro's also, but it seemed to have a lot of polishing on the gas tank. What did Steves close at on the auction.

Polishing the gas tank? WTF ?

Mine was detailed on the undercarriage as well as the "polished gas tank";)

Auction ended at $26,100.

Sorry, Steve, I did not mean "polished gas tank" in the context that you took it as. Ok, ok, "highly detailed underneath", will you buy that as socially acceptable comment regarding an observation?

Steve:
FWIW & IMHO: I thought that yours was going to bring somewhat more than it did, and I never would have thought that his other one that closed on auction at $ 28.1K would do that. Must have been the combination of the replica GNX wheels and a feeding frenzy going on.

either way, there have been a few nice ones for sale lately.

i spent all weekend detailing the underside of mine and got maybe 1/4 of the way done. and yes, the gas tank will be polished....

;)
