Ok this car has 109k on the body 2000 on the engine and around 150 on the transmission. Also a factory moonroof

Engine
The engine was fully rebuilt 2000 miles ago
Forged Eagle crank
Forged Speed pro pistons .30 over
stock rods that were redone with ARP bolts
Steel Mains
Comp Cams 212-212 flat tappet
Heads were also redone with all new valves, pushrods and valve springs
ARP head studs and bolts were used throughout the entire engine
Engine is bulletproof well into the tens
42 pound injectors
Fuel pump hotwired
Adjustable fuel regulator

Transmission
Transmission was rebuilt by Vince Janis not even 150 miles ago have reciept of all work that was done.
Look up his name on this board his a very respected man when it comes to these trannys.
3000 RPM stall

Exhaust
3 inch TH downpipe
3 inch test pipe with cutout in place of the cat car has collector plates so emissions isnt necessary
2.75 inch Hooker exhaust with aerochamber mufflers about 300 miles on it

Rear end
freshened up rear end with new posi and stock 3.42 gears

Suspension
Newer upper and lower rear control arms with polyurethane bushings, not sure of brand previous owner had them installed
Newer stock spec moog springs
Newer Koni adjustable shocks
Front end rebuilt with new parts about 4000 miles ago

Turbo and other
PT-51 turbo with about 6000 miles runs strong
Razors methanol injection
Maft-pro system Car does not have a MAF to worry about it runs flawless on speed density System also acts as a boost controller and you can fully tune the fuel parameters with either a wideband sensor ot O2 sensor more info on the system here maftpro.com
CAS V2 front mount with 3 inch piping
3inch CAI with 9 inch K@N filter

This car has all new sensors that went on before rebuild you will not be dissapointed in the performance of this car. Also has two boost gauges, oil pressure gauge and a scanmaster.

Now for the negative aspects of the car. Im not going to beat around the bush it needs paint. The hood is faded and it has some dents and dings. The car also has rust under the doors and rear quarters. Some surface rust on rear bumper. If you are looking for a very mechanically sound car that just needs a paint job this is the one for you. I have put around 4k into the engine rebuild and supporting mods and just recently 900 into the tranny you will not be dissapointed with the performance.
I will have pictures soon please only ask for them if you are seriously interested in buying the car.

Does the stereo come with the car? I am looking up shipping right now, what is your zip code? Consider me interested :)

Is there any underbody rust on the car? And if possible can you take a pic of the surface floorboard rust? Trying to see how much work will need to go into it.

Thanks :)

I jsut realized there is no cat converter on it, I won't be able to register it in my state.

Cats are easy to add in, get another test pipe and have it welded in. Or if you need to leave it there get a Random cat...it's the best one out there.
Not cheap tho. If this is really the only reason not to buy.

It looks like the cat is around 250.00.
More like $263 to your door, best sagn cat I have ever had. Car past better than new cars. It just had it's last emission check so the cat will be moved over to the 86.

Like I said if that is the only thing stopping you, get a cat and be done with it. There are cheaper cats, but Random flows the best and works the best.

And MoonRoofs ROCK :D

Thanks for the info Ttype83, i think if I have to get the cat i might as well get the best one out there. I am just waiting on a PM from Tony, already have the cashier's check in hand :)

So since your responding, do you think its a good deal on this car? I am new to the Buick scene, and I am not very good at evaluating their quality yet.

I'd like to hear what you think, you can PM me if you like.

Thanks again.

I pick up my 86 and have about that into it now. Car was stock expect for a k/n filter. I had injectors, pump, hotwire, chip, alky, adj fuel pres added before I pick-up the car..82k miles on it at the time. blow up the trans/tc, when I went to change that I added a 3" singlehot exhaust to it. Still need to replace powermaster and valve springs. I think it's a fair price, but hadn't seen any pics...oh and color goes a long way for me. I look at another one at a fair price but hated the interior color. But what it really comes down to is do you think it's fair and are you going to be happy with it. I'm happy with mine even with all the problems it's had.
here are some pics of mine to compare.

The car has collector plates on it so no need to get a e-check, thats in my state at least. You may be able to do the same Im not sure though. The underbody rust is minor. Ill try to get some pics of it.

Everything was balanced by these guys, and my mechanic who has worked on Buicks before rebuilt it. The heads are not ported but they were totally gone over and all the components in them are new.

Victory Engines

This car is still for sale if anyone is interested let me know, price is now 8000k OBO.
