Up for sale is my obsession for the past few years, an extremely stock 1987 Grand National. Major expense and time has been taken to keep this car as close to original as possible, all the way down to the tires and valve stem caps. The only non-stock parts on the car are Kirban’s bracing kits (I installed all that were available to enhance the ride and to reinforce the car as much as possible.) and polyurethane bushings in the freshly powder coated rear end and rear suspension (Finished in the factory black.). This past winter the undercarriage was detailed, rear suspension was redone and the original exhaust powder coated with high-temp.

The car has 42,500 miles on the clock and is a t-top car. It always makes the top three in its class at shows. Price is $18,500 firm (Respectfully, I would rather keep it for anything less). I have all the original manuals, window sticker, all receipts, etc. Take it from me, if you plan on restoring one of these, save thousands of $$$ and hours of time and consider this. Message me for more pictures and information. Girlfriend not included.

Absolutely gorgeous car, you will get your asking price no doubt about it, :) I see 2 more things that arent stock, the adjustable wastegate actuator and the MAF, stock mafs Plug from the bottom not the side. ;) I was already going to the bank and get the money if girlfriend was included until i read the last part of your 4sale thread., both of your ladies are very beautiful.

You will have no problem getting your asking price on this car. This is one of those few cars that is priced to sell and the buyer will get exactly what they are looking for.

Nice job!

Yes, your right. I thought this would probably come up after I posted. I couldn't find a stock wastgate that wasn't adjustable new (Anodizing was shabby on the old one). Your correct on the MAF too...it is an AC Delco. If this is a sticking point, I will make it right.
***Also, stock radio has been upgraded with an I-pod port on the face. You would never notice it unless I pointed it out. I STRONGLY suggest this for anyone that wants to keep a stock appearance but also wants to listen to more than the radio.

Thanks for the compliments...I'm tallying up all my receipts now and it's making me physically ill. I hope it goes to a great home.

Question, is the turbo drain hose leaking a little bit of the center section?, I can see some oil drippings on the top of the bottom radiator hose?, also is this a stock paintjob or was it repainted, I see that the rubber door stripes missing on both sides, any rust issues with the T tops?

I see what you mean, I'll head down to the garage this afternoon to take a look...this is possible because I replaced the stock turbo with a rebuilt stock turbo from Kirban's...the seal was replaced too...I'll let you know what I find. This is not a stock paint job. It has been repainted once. Original paint is still under the new paint. The paint is not super mint, it does have some blemishes (One you can see on the passenger side filler). This particular car does not have the door strip option (Yes, it was actually an option but I am not sure what the service tag code is). There is a little bit of surface rust on the passenger side right where the t-top sits in the middle. If I have a serious buyer, this will be fixed to there satisfaction.

I absolutely would NOT buy this car!;) I could never ever keep anything looking that good!!! This car is beautiful....Im anal about my piece of crap in the garage and if I had this machine it would be nerve racking trying to keep it that way. You my friend are a better man than me.

You don't know how right you are. I've only put about 2,000 miles on the car in the three years that I've owned it. It really needs to go to somebody that is looking specifically for an investment car (Of course, it's not a 6,000 mile car).

Thank you for the comments, I'm very proud of it.

This is another item that is not stock (Though I have the originals and they will go with the car). The seat belt guides were purchased from Kirban's. I believe they come from an F-body of around the same vintage.

Beautiful car, I would like to see some undercarriage shots if you have any, I am not looking to buy but everything else is so detailed I imagine the undercarriage looks great also, where did you find the original tires? Is someone remanufacturing them?
Phil

This looks like a beautiful car! It might take a little time, but to someone who can appreciate what you have for sale, you'll get your asking price. Great car and great job on the restoration.

Regards,

Gino

I never did understand when looking to buy a car, I lift the hood & the engine compartment is all dirty like its never been washed. It doesnt take much extra time to grab an extra or older wash mitt & clean the engine. Slap some wax on the shiny parts & the car looks so much more sale ready. This car is a perfect example (next to mine;)) on how to present a car for sale. Really nice job.

Bump for the car...need to get serious again about selling...$17,500 or best offer.
