the transmission in my gn has been rebuilt before i owned the car. apparently there were a few minor upgrades performed but i don`t know exactly what was done. the problem i have is that the tranny shifts extremely hard into 2nd at light throttle even with the tv cable adjusted properly. on downshifts into first, the shift is again very harsh. you can feel the tranny bang into 1st gear when slowing. my question is what could have been done to cause this? maby the acumulator spring was removed or a wave plate taken out? if it`s something that could be rectified without taking the tranny out then i`m all ears. any input will be greatly appreciated. thank you
