Wheel Size/Tire Choice?

I considering a set of new wheels for my 87 GN, has been lowered using UMI complete suspension change over including Bilstein shocks.
My question is 16x8 GNX or GNX 17x9 Wheels, then the next question would be what tire suggestion (running 20psi boost/alky control)??

looks like GBody is 18s
I would have a conversation with them, they have put lots of time in getting the wheel backspacing and with is the correct tire size that works.
All 18 low profile tires are sticky and Mickey Thompson makes extra sticks.
I have a set of there OE looking 15s and the fit and finish is top shelf. If I was to go low pro I would go to them again.
More to wheel selection than I want a 18in wheel 9 in wide.

when I went 2 a different tire wheel combo, I went with the 16 x 8 Kirban wheel.. Bilsteins and GSCA springs. At the time, there was a good choice of tires, but when I needed another set, the options were limited. I went with a all season and I forget the make. 245-50's and they rub a little at full lock. That's gonna B your problem with a lowered TB and 18" tire. Wheels R a personal choice, so just go with what U like. Do go to the tire spot here 4 more on the subject.
