Alright been playing with this tranny for 3 months now, in and out 4 times.....
Everything seems to be great. All new Borg warner clutchs steels, seals and bushings. Rebuilt pump from Lonnie at Extreme automatics with larger boost valve. Re stalled D5 2800. Sonnax super servo with the cushion spring installed.
Under load every thing is great run through the gears nicely shifts are firm and quick.
I get the occasinal clunky down shift to second, most are smooth.
If I leave quick through 1-2 and let off the throttle I get a clunky 2-3 shift.
Almost sounds like a U joint or the Dif but they appear to be good.
The 2-3 shift under light load is very quick not bangy just fast.
I didn't install a shift kit valve body is unmolested.
