2 questions

ok I know the first question is probably dumb
but I originally owned a jeep and I bought a brand new MSD 6AL Ignition upgrade
my question is can I use this with either an 87 or 86 GN (dont know what year I am getting)
also I am looking to go 12's in total street trim no race gas or anything like that only pump gas
is this very difficult to acheive?
if you know what it takes please list

Well im not sure abpout the ignition, but to get into the 12's just look at gnttype.org, under recipies, can be done really cheap.

The stock ignition is good until 10s, so I wouldn't bother with it. With alky injection, 12s are a sinch with minimal mods on 93 octane. Don't let the alky injection scare you. It is a very simple mod - 1 hour install, and is very easy to tune. It lets you run 22 psi on pump gas.

only MSD that works with TR's is the DIS-4....at least with the stock coil & module

as for the 12 sec thing, you will either need race gas or alky unless you want to spend a lot of $$$.... every recipe on GNTTYPE specifies high octane fuel.....not pump gas
