I don't even think Bill Anderson is here. I haven't seen him.

Yes sir. Walt and Keith had a battle with the tranny and convertor and barely made it for qualifying. I qualified next to him and the car is moving.. Good job Walt!

Dan Strezo leads TSO with a 8.60 @159 qualifying #1 last night. Joe Lubrant told me there is plenty left...if needed.

Dave,

Anything else on TSO???
Say hi to Joe and Dan for me.

THANKS, Jason !

for the updates. Wow...TSM cars keep going faster every time ! Quit playing games and turn it up to 20 lbs of boost fot the final pass ! Watch out for Don, though, he's hanging around with some pretty bad company, I hear ! Jeff Roddick made it, again,to BG. Good job ! Quite a, few FL cars in that bunch.
GO WALT JUDY ! How's Bob Hinson done in TSE ?
Did Keith move up to TSE this year ?
Billy's a bag-o-tricks...always brings a cannon to the fight...Go Mr. Anderson.
Who won TSL ? What did they run ? Any TSL guys stepping up to TSO today ? Say HI ! to the Kearneys for me when you see them, tell them we'll catch them @ Reynolds later in the year if all goes well ! The alcoholics, JD and Julio, how'd they do ? I heard Richie's had problems ? Was he able to fix them for the final qualifying pass ?

Just spoke to Avon from Maryland (built and tuned by Billy Anderson) and he won TSO, beating Chris Lyon in the finals. Billy did not go. Chris beat Dan in Joe Lubrant's car in his semi, and Avon ran a fender ahead of Dave Fiscus all the way down the track to beat him in the other semifinal. Way to go, Avon!!!!

What was up with the first race Avon ran? He and Bobby Don lined up and Avon redlighted but Bobby Don did too or something weird. They ended up rematching. Can someone explain to the spectators went on here?

Kearney won TSM after the red T (sorry I do not know the name) went rich about half track and popped.

Len Freeman won the Big Gun with a 7.76 @ 184 but he ran a 7.61 @ 190 early in qualifying letting out because of tire shake.

Grumpys daughter Melissa was running mid 10's @128 and won TAI but there were only two cars I saw...She an JD who blew or had a leaking headgasket and turned it down and ran 12.0's.

All I can remember at the moment.

Jason

She is running that time with 4-5psi launch and on foot brake.

Avon told me that they both redlighted with him leaving first, but then Bobby did not cross the scales on the return road so they decided to do it over and settle it on the track.

Here is the story on the Avon/Bobby Don race. I talked to Bobby Don personally after his race with Avon. Avon left before tree was activated, Bobby Don left shortly after him. Going by the NHRA rules Bobby Don won the race. While some of the race officials were tiring to figure it out, Bobby Don told Avon, "Lets settle it on the track. Lets re-race. Fastest car goes to the next round" Avon agreed and they set it back up. Avon got the hole shot, Bobby don was passing him by the '330 cone when Bobby Don's intercooler pipe came loose from the throttle body. (We all know what happens when that comes loose) Avon won the race and went through to the next round.
Congrats to Avon on the win & Congrats to Bobby Don for being a TRUE GENTLEMEN Racer. LC and I are privileged to be his car builder, tuner & FRIEND.
