200r4 converter

I have an extra converter for a 200r4 trans. I'm about to put a 700r4 in my truck and was wondering if the 200r4 converter will spline up and work in a 700r4.

Only the early 700's are interchangable with the 200's. The later ones use a larger input shaft. What year trans is the 700?

pre 85' i think 700-R4s had a 27 spline input shaft, the same as 200-R4.

Will NOT work. 9/84 and up are 30 splined. 8/84 and earlier are 27 spline and would interchange.
