OK,

Just to reconfirm that I did the test right. The tap that I was supposed to use was the one to the left and one inch up from the 4 pin connector? Is the proper term for the pressure at that tap the line pressure?.

This bothers me. One inch? No, It is about 6 inches right above the shift lever.

Also, does running this test have to be done at the stall of the torque convertor? Something the trans guy threw out at me. If so was 1500 the correct stall rpm for a stock stall convertor?

Doesn't matter. No effect.

We'll give him one more shot and then we will try your method.

Was wondering if you thought it would be a good idea to mention to him where I'm getting my information? Maybe you two can talk on the phone and discuss exactly what it is I need to fix this? I will instruct him to only buy the parts he needs from you. Even if it is something that can be bought at a local parts store and he is going to have to wait a week to get.

I will help anybody who calls , if I can. As far as the parts thing , It is his job and can purchase parts wherever he likes. I am sure He knows your watching..:).. As for where and who your getting fed info, I don't have a problem with it. Maybe he should visit here.

Good luck
