237 Fuel Regulator Question

I have a gen 2 translator with a TT alky chip. (have a extender extreme chip as well) Do I have enough tuning capability with this system to be able to install a 237 fuel pressure regulator in the car, and not have to worry about adjusting fuel pressures again?

Of course you do. The 237 is only going to raise the fuel pressure 4 lbs.

Well I have an accufab adjustable fpr in now, but wanting to keep it as stock looking as possible. Could I get away with a 237 with my setup? Can I work around not having an adjustable regulator with my chip and translator?

A 237, realistically should give you about 42# of line off fuel pressure, so.....

You would be giving up ability to Adjust to Higher PSI's .. Eric TT says to set at 43Psi and that's what the -237 gives you. You can adjust Fuel up % with the TT chip . Holley makes a very stock looking adjustable Regulator ( i think you just need to spray it Gloss Black to really make it look stock ) . I went with -237 so I can prevent myself from fiddling around with my relatively stock car

Already checked out Holleys adjustable regulator. Horrible reviews on it all the way around. From many sites. I was hopeful too. I hear the bob bailey chip has more adjustability in it. Would that be sufficient to replace an adjustable fpr?

If your after a stock look a 237 should suit you well. I like it because it does what I need it to do (raise fuel pressure) while maintaining a stock appearance and its one less thing for me to worry if its set correctly.

Just got the go ahead from Eric Marshall and Mike to run a 237. I can just mess with the 2nd gen translator for fuel corrections. Anyone else have any other experiences?

It will work fine The 237 is about 42lbs anyway You can tweak the fuel with the chips now anyway
