240 amp altenator with Razor's alky kit

What do you think of upgrading my stock altenator to a 240 amp altenator.Going to get Razor's alky kit soon and wanted to know if this is a good or bad idea.Just looking to get a good altenator that will handle what ever I throw at it.Thanks.ikle.

Volts and if they change (like the ones that read the TPS) is what can cause some volume issues etc. If you run the 240 amp alt and it stays consistent at say 14.1, no probs.

No problem at all.

I run one, no problems so far, you will need to upgrade the battery-to-alternator wire and a shorter belt is needed.

Wire that goes from alt to battery as posted above.

Pulley is smaller so you need a shorter belt.
