how much will these tires throw off the speedometer than the 235/60/15s and how rough do they ride

you really need to look at the MFG's specs as no two 245/60R15 are the same size. some are 27.4" tall while others are 26.3".

Speedo error could be 1.5 mph at 60 mph up to maybe 4 mph at 60 mph.

They won't ride rougher than 235/60's but the you may feel more of the road through the steering.

I used dunlop 245/60's on T-type wheels and the handling was prety good. Aftermarket springs kept the tires off the fenderwells in front.

Isn't that like saying no two 12" rulers are the same length????
They may be off by a tenth of a inch but not by almost a inch.
I have 255/60's on the rear & they are 27.0" tall & 235/60's
on the front & they are 26.10" Both are Goodyear.
Goodrich 255/60's are 27.10" & 235/60's are 26.10"
Goodrich 245/60's are 26.6" Goodyear dosen't make that size in a 15".
A 245/60 is a 245/60 no matter who makes it.

Nitto 275/50 are 25.6 new and closer to 25.3 when worn.

BFG 275/50's start at 26.1 and won't get smaller than 25.9.

Tires size isn't mandated by the government and the height, width, etc. vary by manufacturer.

That's why learning a formula that calculates tire height is just about worthless for determining the actual tire height.
