If you talking about socketing the ecm, there are two possible spacings for it.

Has the bits for installing a EEPROM so you don't have to mess with erasing all the time.

More like not having to remove chips to burn them.

I was looking more at not having to remove the chips from the R&N carriers to burn and update them. Yes I will switch some of my stuff to a zif socket but, I would also like to be able to work on stock type chips.

AND a way to use a 29C256, which is an EEPROM. No erasing.
