I know the 50 series will fit on a stock rim, not sure about the 60 series. These are BFG DR's BTW.

Thanks in advance.

I have a pair of 275/60s mounted on stock rims. They rub on both sides in the rear when I corner or go over bumps. With 1/4" (actually 3/16") spacers they are fine. IMO, they're a little much for a stock rim. If I were to do it again (which I am) I'd go to an 8" rim.

HTH,
Jim

I have them. They do bulge. Alum drums are the key. So far no problems.

I forgot about that, I have a WE4 so I do have the alum drums... right?

i got 'em (the tire's that is) they are fine except over this one dip in my neighborhood they rub when i hit it hard. if you have the stock we-4 rims (t-type rims) then they are 8". the 60's actually bulge less than the 50's b/c they have more sidewall to expand out.

T rims are only 7" wide. They have slightly less backspacing than GN rims so wide tires will rub the frame slightly less with T rims vs. GN rims.

275/60's will fit fine on stock T rims (better than 275/50's actually). You will likely get some frame rub going around corners very fast, But it shouldn't hurt anything. In a straight line, you should experience no rub.
