hello: That would be a Mass Air Flow Pipe. The one cumming out of the turbo to the MAF sensor. I got a Tin Man CA kit (not installed)and I want the 3.5 all the way. That's what I need to complete the system.

to make it clearer it's a product site to make your own MAFP

hello: Frozenboost.com is the site and I just ordered about $70.00 worth of items to put together a 3.5" pipe I hope. If it doesn't work out I'll just send it back. I'd be out sum bucks but it's a learning experience. I'll let you know what happens.

hello: I went out today to play with the components to making a 3.5" pipe. The van wouldn't start, got it towed and I need a fuel pump.
Got to the rented garage in the rain and in a unlighted work space started to play. I'm going with a 45 degree reducer out of the inlet bell and it might work? But what is everyone doing to avoid the alt. bolt and bracket?
thanks

hello: My latest thought is to buy a pc. of 3.5" thin walled PVC to get the correct length of pipe as the alum. pc. I got is 2 ft. long.

well that thought went down the tubes. 3",4" is all I can find. Anyone know where I can get some easily cut 3.5" OD tubing? ridged plastic is what I want.
thanks

hello ladies and gents: I will be getting my old van back today and you wouldn't believe what they get for the job. A thing that sucks is that I just filled up and that won't help the job. he said like $250 parts $250 labor.
When I get it I'll pass on the sucky news.

hello peoples: The van bill was $533. New after market pump and sending unit. I did ask about a GM pc. and the part alone was over 6 bills. Now my gage doesn't work.
While the van was in the shop I did get to mess with my MAFP idea with the Tin Man and it's a no go. I never got down to cutting any pipe as it wasn't a straight shot.
The CAI isn't new any more as I had it in and out a few times. I guess I'll use my stock MA sensor and 3" pipe but I need another reducer as I bought the CAI for a 3.5" sensor.
