3 inch vs 3.5 inch downpipe ?

At what point or hp level is it worth the upgrade to a 3.5 downpipe from a 3 inch. Car is making 550 rwhp now and I have a 3 inch downpipe. Thanks

I've posted about this before. I wouldn't waste $1 on a different pipe unless the rest of the combo was out of breath. The more sweeping the bend is off the turbo the better. Some pipes are better than others. A good 3.5" pipe isn't cheap and fit is questionable unless it was made specifically for the car. 550whp should net 10.20 in a 3600lb car.
