i just went for a ride in the car and i think something is wrong. ive never driven a car with a high stall converter so maybe its normal but the car seems to have a hard time getting to second gear, i really have to give it gas then let off the gas in order for it to upshift. is this normal for a 3000 stall converter. i have a new 200r4 from TCI along with a TCI 3000 stall converter.

A higher stall converter will not act like you stated. Try adjusting your tv cable.
