3800 SC in my buddies 98 Malibu?

Hey guys,
My buddy wants to see if he would be able to put one of these motors in his 98 Malibu 4-door that now has the 3.1L motor in it. Could you guys give me any insight to as if this swap would be very difficult? Let me know
