3rd Brake Light wont light

No power at the light itself, traced wire through harness to fuse block ....still no power there. Did continuity test from fuse block to light ,all wiring o.k. Brake lights in housings work fine as well as every other electrical component on car. Was told could simply be a bad brake light switch or something in the multifunction switch (directionals). Any help would be greatly appreciated.Its an 87 T/R limited by the way. Thanks

3rd brake lite doesnt go thru the t'sig switch. Its direct from the 2nd brake lite switch. You wont have continuity from the fuse to the bulb unless the switch is closed.

Thanks for answering Jim, the switch when closed still has no power to the third brake light, you think its in the switch?

Check it with a test lite at the switch.

My switch was bad & I was able to disassemble it & clean it & reinstall it.
