4L60e torque conv prob

What is the first thing to check when the torque conv is continously locked( i think) on a 96 Tahoe 4wd?

From what Salee-Chevrolet indicates the connector's pins are labeled so this should be useful info. The pins A and D should have battery potential between it if the TCC is on or there is an electrical problem. (eg a short to ground somewhere) Other then that my ATSG book says potential probs otherwise could be a grounded wire internally, some sorta internal damage, a clogged exhaust orfice, or a stuck valve.

There was some talk about it happening after a new stereo install. But it was done with the plug and play harness. Do you know where the ground wire is?
