Anyone have the GT 6162 turbo? I ended up buying that one instead of the 6776 because I dont think my engine will stay together with that big snail! I am working under a tight budget too, so buying the BB6776 & a intercooler would really knock my savings down. So I ended up with the 6162 Std brg, 60 lb / chip combo from Eric @ TT. A 23 row stock location intercooler. Should be a good upgrade from a 49, 42.5 inj, & stock intercooler. Hoping to get low 11's, maybe high 10's. Sound possible?

I've seen people go faster with less, assuming you have the convertor and trans to hold up...tuning and the right combo, sure why not. But that's allot of if's and or assumptions on my part....

You could pull it off with some tuning and a great 60ft.
One thing this car does is leave strong for a full weight/suspension car. I had a best 1.59 60 foot on foot brakes & MT drag radials. I now have a lot more stall,(3300-3500) I have a bigger turbo & injectors, New tranny with a brake & 2 huge tranny coolers, 1 with a built in cooling fan in front of it. I also hooked up a switch so I can lock the TCC @ WOT. I also installed a electric fan in front of my stock Intercooler to help with heat soak after a run. The biggest upgrade is the Summit racing stickers I put under the hood, hey if it works for ricers, why not me!! Man am I gonna be pissed if I slow down!! Guess I'll just add a few more stickers. Good for a couple tenths right? :biggrin:
