6AN braided trany line ?

Does anyone know if 6AN braided hose are the same ID as the stock lines or slightly bigger. Thanks ikle.

-6 is a lot bigger. If you get Aeroquip TFE line, it is narrower in outer diameter than regular rubber -6 lines when trying to snake it up and around places.

I'd suggest the TFE line. The rubber, when exposed to elevated oil temps, will eventually get "harder than the back of Superman's head"..

Is there any down side to replacing the factory stock tranny lines to 6AN braided lines going from the tranny to factory cooler then to a external cooler then back to the tranny. I figure since the 6AN lines have a bigger ID than the stock lines it will be able to move more fluid thus having lower tranny temps. What do you guys think? Thanks, ikle.
