i just had a rebuilt 700r4 installed. It seems to shift just fine other than it wont downshift from 2nd to 1st when you nail the throttle just after the 1st to 2nd shift. After 3rd gear it downshifts just fine into second and it will downshift into 3rd from 4th. It just doesnt downshift to 1st from 2nd. All the gears kickdown just fine and the tranny seems to work fine other than this problem. I plan to take it back to the guys who installed it next week but i was hoping for some insight from you guys.
