the 85-87 Buick regal and GN’s came with a RPO code option UW4 which was “concert sound speakers”. They were door speaker pods with an emblem saying “concert sound 2”.
I’m trying to acquire some to install on my vehicle. I found some.. but they are from an 84, the speaker pod looks exactly the same but there is no emblem saying “concert sound II”. I can only assume this means these are the concert sound 1 pods. Out of general curiosity I tried to lookup info on them but that failed. So I tried to lookup the RPO codes list to see what they described them as, and what code they put them under. But I can only find the codes list for 85-87, not for 84.
All I want to know is if these are still technically “concert sound” speakers pods, and if they labeled it under the same code or not (UW4)
