What is the difference between the 8 and 14 bolt aluminum head configurations ? I realize the 14 bolt is for a Stage motor,but I see people using a 14 bolt configuration on their stock 109's, is there an advantage to the 14 bolt....stronger ?.....also the rockers are mounted differently 8 bolt uses the pedestal shaft mount and the 14 bolt uses the SBC stud method....is one better then the other ????..... Can stock GM head gaskets be used with the 14 bolt heads ?
