82/83 Distributor ? any difference

I have a distrubtor that I believe to be from an '83 turbo and a complete wiring harness with ECM, from the ECM forward. The dizzy has a 4 wire ESC connection that are next to each other, 0000. What would the difference be in the years? Also, did the '81/83 turbo have aluminum intake?

I believe all distrubutors for ECM V6 engines are the same (year, turbo/NA doesn't matter).

1980-1983 inatke are aluminum. Knock sensor moved from intake to the block when aluminum was used.

• 1980 is set up for non-ecm
• 1981 uses an ECM, with coolant heating the carb plenum
• 1982 & 1983 are the same, ECM with EGR heated plenum
