I have a 1983 T-Type. I am going to rebuild the engine and want to know what all can be done to give this old engine more power ? I would like to get has many HP as I can.

I haven't had the pleasure of rebuilding one yet, but when I do I will go with a 4.1 vs. a 3.8. The only draw back to the 4.1 is the cost of custom, quality pistons.
Either way, port the heads and mild cam. The rest is bolt on mods. I can't think of anything else. The stock, short block is very good as is.

hmmm.. I like the grind on my cam... just not the company.

Gauges..Knock, oil, vac/boost

Ok now you maybe in the 13's.....but the poor rear end is only
spinning on one side
