'83 T-type Transmission....?

I just finished rebuilding my '83 T-type engine and it is running pissa but the only problem is that, i can't put any of that power to the ground. My transmission is all fuc$#ed up. I have an extra transmission from an '82 v6 Regal. Could i switch them? I know that the '83 T-type transmission was a lot better and it was a 4 speed, but could i replace it with an '82 Regal transmission. The 200R4 was a really nice transmission but i don't care right now. I just want to get this thing goin'. Are they the same length? Would it fit?

No, No, and No in that order. A 2004r will be the only thing you are happy with and that belongs in there. I wish i would have seen this post sooner. Sometimes i think they vanish for a day LOLOLOL
