Was wondering the it hot air cars have the same inter fenders as the 86/87 cars?

84 hotair

Scott, i have a 84 hotair parts car, the front w-houses have "turbo" stamped in the front ofthem, these are the same as my 87,i can't confirm if they have ever been changed though.. ..ps i was sorry to miss the tr nationals at richards. I few friends are hoping to go down this summer and possiblely do a trans class or just hang out.. Thake care..

They'll work in a pinch. The only big difference,as far as turbo spec inner wheelhouses go,is the PS reservior mounting bracket holes. The distance between them is about 1/2" shorter on the Hot Air/Carb Turbos. Why they had to change them is beyound me? Yes I know the 85 and older TR's didn't use the remote PS reservior but the oddball 82-84 4.3 V-6 Diesels did.

I am running the 85 inner fender wells in my car and everything bolted up as it would in an 87. As far as I can tell they are the same.
