84/87 conversion Electric Fan

I have just about finished installing a complete 87 setup on my 84 Gn
Used the 87 ECM and 87 wiring harness and all other 87 parts.
My question is will the fan work or is any additional wiring needed?

Running fan from ECM on hot air Buicks

If memory serves you need to run a wire from D2 which is in one of the ECM wiring connectors. That wire triggers your fan relay and the relay contacts complete the high current 12v circuit to the fan.
If you need more specific info let me know I'll look it up and provide more details
On the other hand if your 87 wiring harness already has that wire in place then ignore me.

Fan Wiring

I used the complete 87 harness in the motor compartment so the wiring is there for the fan along with the switchs for the high and low speed
Where is it going to get power from?
Am I making a mountain out of a mole hill
