84 T High Idel

Hello everyone sorry for last post,that was my 1st and I screwed up. I am the proud new owner of an 84 ttype,and I need help to get it running right. The car starta right up ,but I have to keep it running by hand for about 30 sec. At this point it is at 2200 rpm,and running rough. After it warms up the rpm only drops to 1400. I tried the IAC reset ,and then set TPS ,but did not help. I also fixed all vac isues,and installed a well needed coil. Can this be a bad IAC ,how to tell. Please help with any advice, thank you.

Did someone turn up the idle screw on the TB?

One thing I learned QUICK ......... You can not and will not get these things tuned without some type of scan tool. Until you have numbers, no one will be able to help. Sorry .......

Don’t mean to sound harsh, but you need TPS, IAC, MAF etc numbers for any of the experts (not me ) to help you pinpoint issues.
