Hey There!
I am very new to this site,it is very informative,I have a chance to pick up a 84 t-type for around $3500,it is all stock with around 114,000 miles on it,no rust, bench seat, gray ext. and gray cloth int.,it runs good,I will be using it for a daily driver,I have never owned a t-type or gn before,I have always loved the looks of the t-types an gns and always wanted one, anything I should look out for on these would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Eric.

Sounds like a pretty good deal. If your planning on using it as a daily driver, and keeping it fairly stock, then your biggest overall concern for buying this car I would think is going to be anti-theft protection. As with alot of the older gm cars, these cars are VERY easy to steal. The frameless door windows pretty much takes all the work out of getting into the car for the average car thief. Choose your parking spots and theft deterent devices wisely! Pretty much all the factors that would apply to any 20+ year old car is going to be the same with the 84 t. Has the car sat for long periods of time? anything dry-rotted? was the car always taken care of preventive maintance wise? Whats been replaced? Electrical all working and in good shape? If the turbo has never been replaced or overhauled on that car with that amount of milage, then its most likely due, but don't let that discourage you from buying. I'm not sure what cost of stock replacement turbo, but can't be more than 5 hundred bucks. (not sure). But for a new turbo on a rare car that may be a pretty good buy is not that big of deal.(its only money  ) If your slightly mechanically inclined, this website and gnttype.net will become your buick bible, and can save you lots of $$$ should a gremlin arise. The fuel injection systems on these cars are very reliable if properly maintained, and not all that difficult to troubleshoot really.
good luck.

thanks for the info and the theft deterent tip, your absolutely right about this site,if I get the t-type I will be coming here a lot and asking you guys a fair amount of questions on these cars.

Thanks Again Eric.

Buy it. I've seen rust free rolling chassis go for more than that. How is the interior?

Try to get to know some fellow TB owners in your area as well. Nothing like a friend to help you when you need it.
