"85" GN in Carson, Ca

This one listed on ebay as an '85. Sure looks like an '87 to me. This guy obviously doesn't know what he has. Anyone familiar with this car?

it might be a 85 with a 86-87 transplant, did you ever think of that?

Yes, I considered that, but why wouldn't the guy mention it in the item description?

That's why I asked if anyone was familiar with this car. Such a tight knit group, usually someone knows something- especially in SoCal.

just spoke with elmore its an 85 with 87 grill, 87 motor everything upgraded to look just like an 1987, clean interior and repaited, has a superchip whatever that is, 3k stall and thats all he knows original miles so he says but i would double check with a carfax to make sure.

yeah carsons not that far from me but theres alot of hack jobs and thieves in that area

That would make a good race car for 5k. Might as well hack up an 85 that's not worth anything.
