85 GN Springs vs 87 GN

My friend's car is an 86 GN with 85 GN springs her car sits 3/4 of an inch lower than mine.

I don't think age has anything to do with it.

Is their a part number difference?

Has any one every noticed this before.

Age probably doesn't, but miles driven and compression/rebound cycles do.

They should have the same springs.
