85 hotair vacuum brake issue

Converted to vacuum brakes and when into boost it will sometimes blow the check valve out of the grommet in the booster.

what could this be?

The check valve is bad and allowing the vacuum booster to be pressurized.

Where are you pulling your vac source from?? (The hot air vac block never sees boost pressure)

I'm getting my vacuum source from the vacuum block.

On the same line as the pcv valve

Is there oil present? Possibly slipping off?

No there isn't any oil present. New booster and hoses and booster check valve grommet.

The can is running very rich I just found out what that was a dead 02 sensor. Would that have anything to do with it?

Have a thought, is the vacuum hose from the engine to booster long enough? IOW, is it possible that the engine is torquing over and pulling the check valve out of the booster?

im going to check to see how long the hose is that maybe it also.
