I'm in the process of resurrecting an 85 WH1 - long block is together, short block will follow shortly and I'm in need of some guidance.
Hot air is not quite what I'm after, and the turbo that I have is worn but serviceable.
My goal is a reasonably quick daily driver... I'm thinking FMIC, turbo, headers, exhaust, fuel pump, and megasquirt for fuel and ignition.
I'm a little confused about the options that I have for the turbo. The ta49 seems to be the recommendation. How does the whole external/internal wastegate come into play here?
