Getting it towed today.
$1100 - which to me sounds a little high considering I pay Lonnie that for a GN trans.

Oh hell - Clam will tell you that I will gladly pass on parts if a fellow Buick guy is in dire need.
The stuff I get is for spares more than anything - and the cavalcade of project cars.

It isn't like I won't come across more parts during my vacation next week to the boneyards
Which - Clam - get this.

You know I stopped to try to see if they had a Dodge tranny in the junkyard - while I was limping home.
When I stopped at Pull-A-Part - what do they have?
A 1986 Regal.
And perfect grey dash, AND - a perfect, and I do mean perfect dash speaker cover - which is unheard of - etc etc etc
Perfect lowers - non CS though.
It's a Limited, so there isn't a whole ton of stuff for me from the interior - but enough
The fenders and the doors are really nice,
Really nice.
Think I'll scarf those for - ya know...next. Even though they have the chrome lower moldings.
And oh - decent chrome bumpers for the WH1 AND - aluminum bumper braces
Perfect chrome grill too

And when I stopped at the next one up the road - they too have a 1987 Regal.
With more decent stuff.
Not as decent - but some stuff.

And there is a ton of G's and such with the usual assortment of jounce bars, charcoal canisters, windshield wiper arms, reveal molding ets etc - and one Monte that has the underhood braces.
YUM!

Both cars have vacuum booster, with near new looking Master cylinders, so I think I'll grab that and the pedals too.
Not that I'm a fan of vacuum - but whatever.

I need that truck fixed! NOW!
I will lose sleep thinking about those two cars.
But as I said - I know how I am going to spend Thanksgiving vacation!

They aren't often / ever found on G's
F bodies mainly.
I checked every F body they had.
I always do!
NADA
1/2 had rear wheel disks - the rest had junky old steels.
The only ones I know of are ...in....my .....spare bedroom!
