86/87 TPS on 84/85?

hey guys.. i got a 86/87 tps lying around.. atleast im pretty sure it is.. anyway.. is there a sure fire way to wire this so it will work? It sweeps the other way..

any ideas? if not.. anyone know how much GM charges for a new one? Thanks guys!

I've used one with no wiring change. I know it sweeps the other way.....so here it goes:

Install the sensor with the arm turned all the way to the left - so that it fits behind the pin on the tb shaft. Set the voltage and your good to go.

I have been told over and over that it won't work but I ran one on my car for 3yrs like this
